Ante-Partums

Any ante-parum patient is admitted to the labor and delivery floor prior to delivery of an infant for reasons such as high blood pressure, diabetes, bleeding or rupture of membranes. An ante-partum admission can be admitted to a hospital setting for several days or for the legnth of the pregnancy. They sometimes may go home to be on bedrest and followed by an outside homecare facility.
